Humans and technology have existed alongside of every other because the beginning. Technology enables the disabled, empowers the powerless, and educates the uneducated. I recently used this tool for the first time at a keynote I was delivering at the Massachusetts General Hospital ECOTE 16 education symposium. I do believe we are expanding ever-further apart, and I think technology has played a function in that. The analogy with machine understanding and with marketing and advertising technology in common is clear. I suspect that some teachers, like some students, are misunderstanding the intent and uses of technology in the classroom misunderstanding how to integrate technology and teaching and learning.
